CF Translational Proteomics receives ultra sensitive mass spectrometer
The Institute of Translational Proteomics and associated core facility have welcomed their newest member: a timsTOF Ultra by Bruker, complemented by a nanoElute 2 liquid chromatography system by the same supplier.
This acquisition was made possible by a large instrument grant from the German Research Foundation (DFG).
The instrument is seen here while still hanging on the installation gantry. It is now fully installed, as well as operational and has indeed already seen first production samples. We are excited to put this baby through it’s paces!
